May Holidays (2009, May 01-03) our Kunfu teacher wanted to show us his natal village and the shaolin school he went to, near the Shaolin temple. That’s how we took the overnight train to Zhengzhou 郑州, and left for a 3 days roadtrip in Henan Province. Shaolin temple in itself is a beautiful place, but be ready, you won’t be the only tourist in the place!! After shaolin temple, we headed south-west to discover the village of our teacher, and the wonderful surroundings : mountains and cliffs offer wonderful views, and are camping-perfect places!
