PR-BI 174. ILUNTZAR. MIRADOR DE URDAIBAI

(EUS) URDAIBAIKO BEGIRATOKIA.
Illuntzar mendiak talaia baten itxura du Urdaibaiko Biosfera Erreserbaren gainean. Mendi-larreetatik, paisaiaren kontrastea ikus daiteke, paduren hondotik hasi eta Ereño eta Nabarniz arteko haran garaietaraino eta gure arroa mugatzen duten mendietaraino.
Mendi-ibilbide hau Nabarnizko Elexalde herri-gunetik abiatzen da, baso-pista batetik Illuntzar tontorrera igotzeko. Bertan, haizeak gogor jotzen du, eta ganadua lasai asko bazkatzen da. Bere mantu berdearen azpian leize ugari ezkutatzen dira, Ineritze adibidez, 330 metroko sakonekoa.
Ibilbidea larreetatik iparralderantz jaisten da, eta han Airoko pagadi ederra eta baserri zaharraren hondakinak gurutzatuko ditugu. Pista zabal batek Kurtziaganako bidegurutzera eramango gaitu eta handik Ikazurietara jaitsiko gara galtzada zaharretik.

(CAS) MIRADOR DE URDAIBAI.
El monte Illuntzar se alza como una atalaya sobre la Reserva de la Biosfera de Urdaibai. Desde sus pastos montanos se observa el contraste de su paisaje, desde el fondo de las marismas hasta los valles altos entre Ereño y Nabarniz y los montes que limitan nuestra cuenca.
De carácter montañero, este sendero parte del núcleo Elexalde de Nabarniz para ascender por una pista forestal a la cima del Illuntzar, donde el viento sopla con fuerza y el ganado pasta ajeno a nuestra presencia. Bajo su manto verde se esconden numerosas simas, como la de Ineritze, con 330 m de profundidad.
El sendero desciende por los pastos hacia su cara norte, donde cruzaremos el bello hayedo de Airo y las ruinas del viejo caserío. Una amplia pista nos acerca al cruce de Kurtziagana, desde donde descenderemos a Ikazurieta por la vieja calzada.
Entre Ikazurieta, Uribarri y Elexalde podremos disfrutar de la belleza de estos pequeños núcleos rurales, donde la vida discurre en torno al caserío.

Mount Illuntzar stands guard over the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve. Its mountain pastures reveal the contrast in its landscape, from the backdrop of marshes to the high valleys between Ereño and Nabarniz and the hills that border our river basin.
Mountainous in nature, this trail starts in the centre of Elexalde in Nabarniz and climbs up a forest track to the summit of Illuntzar, where a stiff wind blows and the livestock graze without being disturbed by our presence. This green mantle conceals a number of ravines, such as Ineritze, which is 330 m deep.
The trail descends through the pastures toward the north face, where we pass the beautiful Airo beechwood and the ruins of an old farmhouse. A wide track leads to the crossroads at Kurtziagana, from where we walk down to Ikazurieta along the old road.
At Ikazurieta, Uribarri and Elexalde we can enjoy the beauty of these rural hamlets, where everyday life revolves around the farmhouse.

(FR) PLATFORM.MIRADOR D’URDAIBAI.
Le mont Illuntzar se dresse comme un mirador sur la Réserve de Biosphère d’Urdaibai. Depuis ses pâturages de montagne l’on observe le contraste de son paysage, depuis le fond des marais jusqu’aux hautes vallées entre Ereño et Nabarniz et aux monts qui limitent notre bassin.
De type montagneux, ce sentier part du noyau Elexalde de Nabarniz pour monter par une piste forestière à la cime d’Illuntzar, où le vent souffle avec force et le bétail paît, étranger à notre présence. Sous son manteau vert se cachent de nombreux gouffres, comme celui d’Ineritze, de 330 m de profondeur.
Le sentier descend par les pâturages vers la face nord, où nous traverserons la belle hêtraie d’Airo et les ruines d’une vieille ferme. Une ample piste nous rapproche du croisement de Kurtziagana, d’où nous redescendrons à Ikazurieta par la vieille chaussée.
Entre Ikazurieta, Uribarri et Elexalde nous pourrons contempler la beauté de ces petits noyaux ruraux, où la vie s’écoule tout autour de la ferme.
