    Not a lot of signage to get you to the “trailhead” but once you get to some rusty road signs on the left you will see a wooden sign on the right that says El Mirador with an arrow confirming direction. You will be hiking on a road, however the vehicle traffic was light for us. We got to trailhead at about 11:00. The trail is fairly exposed so take plenty of water. The footing is loose silky dirt so plan on washing your gear down upon return. You will reach a saddle where the road splits three ways - that is the official destination. We hiked the steep continuation of the road for another 1/4 mile and it definitely qualifies as difficult when considering the pitch and the footing. All considered, if you are already in San Sebastian your life can’t get much better and this hike will give you a good dose of cardio and a number of great photo ops overlooking the town, church and La Bufa. Enjoy!
