Amazing view throughout the trail.
We parked on the road next to the forest entrance. We started our hike in the forest. Level moderate to hard. We got to a point where we stopped for 30min, enjoyed a coffee in the middle of the forest, sat on hamacs and then continued uphill. This is where it got a bit harder, but totally worth the view on the top. You get to a point where you can have a 360 view on Tannourine, Kornet el Sawda and Tripoli. Once you get to the top, expect 40 minutes to the back, most of the road being downhill, non tiring, with amazing scenery. We ended our hike in a local delicious saj (Saj Lalou) and cafe (Warde). It’s a loop, so you can easily get back to the cars. Totally worth trying! Enjoy and #HikeWhileYouCan !
