Descripción del itinerario
There are a number of combinations of creeks you can walk from the CedarCreek area. Black Creek is probably the hardest and basically because of some of the harder climbs within the route and the impact of vegetation along its sides. There are some serious vertical climbs along the route that require some good body strength.
The initial route starting from the end of Cedar Creek Road progresses up the creek until you hit the first available left turn. This is Black Creek.
There are numerous waterfalls that have to be climbed along the route. Some of the routes require an obvious climb up and an embankment to the right or left to avoid a waterfall.
Eventually, you will hit a narrowing in the water course, which will require you to weigh through ankle deep water until the watercourse widens. You will hit a number of correct terms where you will have to watch your route choice to make sure you connect with the Green Falls track from Miala.
Falling so Green Falls track to Green Falls, you now switch to descending down Cedar Creek. You now simply follow this Creek all the way back to the start.
This route requires good timing to ensure that Black Creek is thoroughly washed through and has good water flow at the time. Therefore, it is best done in the pre-christmas period. The pictures attached to this route recording tell the tale of some of the beautiful waterfalls you will experience along this track.
