This track starts from Walkout Creek Discovery Centre.
Trails used in Mount Cootha are Boscombe Road trail, Goanna trail, (Gap Creek Reserve Picnic Area), Bellbird trail, Kamala trail, Reservoir trail.
You can stop briefly at the Summit for a break. Return via Litchfield track, (Channel 9 tower), Jacksonia track, Cockatoo trail, Goanna trail, Gold Creek trail.
This track continues around the reservoir before returning to Walkout Creek Discovery Centre. I included a detour via tunnel trail. This track can be completed by walking or running.
Toilets located at Walkout Creek Discovery Centre, Gap Creek Reserve picnic area, Summit lookout.
This track is rated medium/hard due to the distance.

Sets of stairs on the way down after 20 k’s are pure evil !
I chose to go down Jacksonia track after the 11km to the Summit from Enoggera Reservoir and going on Litchfield track. The aim of this walk was to minimise going on the same track. Glad you enjoyed this walk.
