This is a intense hike that will likely require two overnight stays. The trail is official and generally well-marked, but in early May we had to make our way through numerous logging areas at both the beginning and end of the route.
Snow on the north-facing slopes can also make the hike more difficult—it's often still present through early to mid-May, making the trail harder to follow and slowing down progress. If you’re looking for a more relaxed experience, it’s best to go later in the season.
Nedzvi is absolutely worth visiting. You’ll find beautiful and diverse forests, abundant flora and fauna, panoramic views, rocky mountains, and solid shelters equipped with wood stoves—everything you could ask for.
There’s no issue with water sources—plenty of streams and small rivers run through the valleys, and there are springs near the shelters.
