Descripción del itinerario
Varied terrain beginning with sand path... then moved along to rocky and soil paths... a little bit of everything!
Views of sea, salt pond beautiful.
Although hike goes along the coast, it is inland a bit, thus the sea is not visible most of the hike except at certain areas.
Trail is well marked except for one area where stone makings appear at the top of a small hill (see last photo). That's where it was a bit confusing. If you head left (wet)... toward the tiny rock formation... you will go by a building and see signs for the trails. You proceed west to Trace de la Gourde. Upon the return, go via the path heading north then east to Trace de l'Anse Tarare . That will take you back along the sea and by the nude beach..
Be sure to take the "detour" up the hill heading North to Pointe Tarare for the beautiful 360° view. Heading back stop to see the large waves crashing over the reefs. The path will return you to where the rock pyramid trail markers are (see photo) on the path you didn't take previously... (the one originally on the right).
Easy hike. Take water as a lot of the walk is exposed.
