First part of Sandlings way, Ipswich to Melton. 9.9miles.
Easy walk through woodland, Riverside. Good paths, well sign posted.
Paths can be muddy after rain.
Options for refreshments at Tesco extra stop, costa also available.
Woodbridge is a delightful market town, plenty of shops to browse.
You could stop at Woodbridge and pop on the train back to Ipswich.
We continued the final 1.5 miles to Wilford Bridge. Then stepped on tne train from near by Melton Station to Ipswich.
