Descripción del itinerario
Summiting Sannine has always been something special for me. I remember exactly 3 years ago I did it for the first time (normal dirt route) and went on to climb it 3 or 4 times more trekking style (outside of normal dirt road)!
This Mountain speaks to me because of its mighty look and because each time I hike on it it makes me feel I’ve actually achieved something..
Our climb started at the Sannine lake area where the army post is located. On our way up we’ve encountered tens of 4x4 cars (and ATVs) as they were going up to attend a Mess few days before ‘3id El Salib’ which is very unpleasant honestly!
Once we’ve reached the summit we’ve waited for the departure of all so we can enjoy a quite and non noisy decent, and that’s what happened.
Before we made it back we’ve trekked a bit towards the area overlooking Zahle and I was able to see the start of the Sannine Mountain! Beautiful..
