Descripción del itinerario
We started at the Rakit picnic parking (bonus points for toilets and running water – true luxury in hiking terms) around 8 a.m. The trail begins on the green-marked Shvil Rakit, passing by some ancient remains: a synagogue, an olive press, and even a burial cave, because why not mix archaeology with cardio? Later it connects to the red-marked trail, which is also part of the famous Shvil Israel. The path is partly shaded, and the return stretch is an easy wide road with sweeping views of the coastline. Overall: a light, pleasant loop with that perfect combo of “old stones and nice nature.”
