Descripción del itinerario

A nice walk through Corrie Fee which takes you to the peak of Mayar then onto the peak of Driesh, both if which are munros!

Starting off with a nice bimble through the forest you then come to Corrie Fee which is the first nice sight you see.

As you walk through Corrie Fee you then start the ascent of Mayar. This is a very slow and steady incline all the way to the top. Taking it easy with a few stops to catch our breath!

Once we had lunch at the top of Mayar we then made the easy descent down and along towards Driesh.

The Driesh climb up isn't as long but with legs still weary from Mayar it still took some effort! After the first steep climb up it then leads to a more relaxed slope up towards the peak of Driesh.

After soaking up the views we then made our descent back down to the Car park. This was actually the hardest part for me personally. A long walk down which seems to last forever and is unforgiven on the knees and feet!

All worth it for the experience and the views!

This walk is an absolute corker, I've done it several times with friends and family of varying levels of ability. I used it regularly in my early 40s to get fit ready for more demanding excursions later in the season. It's within easy striking distance of Perth, Dundee, and anywhere in Angus, and provides a great variey of scenery. I personally prefer longer more challenging walks, but when you're pressed for time, or walking with people who aren't regular hillwalkers, it's enough to keep you out of cold turkey!
