Descripción del itinerario
Easy trail that starts by taking the cogwheel train from Zermatt all the way up to Gornegrat at ~3100 m. After a loop around Gornegrat (trail #16) we continued descending toward Riffelsee, following trail #23, passing by Rotenboden, and ending at the Riffelberg station where we hopped on the train again bound for Zermatt. This makes it a nice short hike almost anyone could do, particularly in summer. It was a bit trickier this time around due to the amount of snow and ice. Trail can be followed all the way down to Riffelalp and Zermatt.
