Lo de difícil es por la distancia y el desnivel, no hay dificultad técnica alguna, puro sendero... espectacular!
Lástima que el glaciar esté en regresión... a ver si llegáis a tiempo de verlo...
En dos días acampando en el refugio des Oulettes es una buena escapada a la montaña.
Hasta el Lac de Gaube existe la posibilidad de subir en telesilla, reduciendo el desnivel en caso de intentarlo en una sola jornada.

The Vignemale (Occitan: Vinhamala, Aragonese: Comachibosa), at 3298 metres, is the highest of the French Pyrenean summits, in the border with Spain (the highest in the whole of the range is Pic Aneto).
The Vignemale is the name given to the mountain massif which actually straddles into Spain. It consists of several distinct summits, the predominant ones being Grand Vignemale or Pique-Longue (3298m), Pointe Chausenque (3204m) and Petit Vignemale (3032m). The Vignemale is also the site of the second largest of the Pyrenean glaciers (after Aneto's one), the Ossoue (with around 0,6 km2), across which is the "voie normale" or standard route to the summit.
One of its most dramatic aspects is the North Face upon which there are a number of serious ascent routes requiring skill and commitment. Below the North Face is the impressively situated mountain refuge - the Refuge des Oulettes de Gaube. The approach from the north entails a delightful walk up to and around the picturesque Lac de Gaube giving increasingly dramatic views of the mountain.
Almost synonymous with the Vignemale is the name of Count Henry Russell, an eccentric of the Victorian era who developed a lifelong passion for the mountain.

Hola. En primer lugar muchas gracias por compartir estás fantásticas rutas, y además con la redacción en español. Mi pregunta es: ¿ves factible hacer esta ruta en sólo un día en agosto? Gracias nuevamente.
Son casi 2000 m de desnivel positivos y 30 kms ida y vuelta, se puede saliendo a buena hora y muy buena forma física. Yo la hice en dos días, acampando junto al Refugio Oulettes de Gaube y subir el pico temprano. Buen camino!
Muchas gracias por tu respuesta. Ya he hecho cosas con distancias y desniveles similares e incluso mayores, pero no en Pirineos, que es lo que me hecha para atrás. Lo estudiaré detenidamente y me llevaré más tracks aunque sean más cortos y dependiendo de las circunstancias cuando llegue la fecha tomaré alguna decisión. Lo que tengo muy claro es que en la montaña no quiero llevarme ningún disgusto.
Gracias por poner esta ruta. Hicimos hasta el refugio de Oulette y luego pasamos por el col des Mulets.
